Grand Bend Beach Enhancement

Project Overview

The main beach in Grand Bend is a busy urban beach on the shores of Lake Huron and is a significant source of revenue for the village as well as local businesses. The beach enhancement program includes improved parking facilities, an extensive boardwalk with viewing platforms,a children's playground, a waterplay area and a gazebo for events and performances. The updated program also features a completely native planting scheme, dune restoration areas and interpretive signage.
