Lamoureux Interpretive Plaza

The historic settlement of Lamoureux is nestled within the North Saskatchewan River Valley, across from Fort Saskatchewan.  The rich history of the region prompted Sturgeon County, in conjunction with the Lamoureux Historic Society to retain the services of EDA to design, site, and oversee the construction of an interpretive plaza. As part of this scope of work, EDA researched and developed the text for the interpretive panels, designed the panel layout and interpretive stand, and planned a modestly sized plaza to house the interpretive display.
